Make simple, sweet, and salty peanut clusters using your slow cooker. This no-bake recipe requires only four ingredients and minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag peanut butter chips
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar dry roasted peanuts, drained if oily
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in the basin of a small slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 1 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until the chips are completely melted and smooth. Do not let the mixture scorch.
  3. Remove the slow cooker from the heat. Stir in the 16 ounces of drained dry roasted peanuts until they are fully coated with the chocolate mixture.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
  5. If using, immediately sprinkle the tops of the clusters with the chopped salted peanuts.
  6. Let the clusters cool and set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Notes

  • You can substitute milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips for part of the semi-sweet chips.
  • Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats for easy removal.
  • This candy stores well in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
