Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy removal.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, and black pepper to create the glaze.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet, making sure the tops are well coated.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra moisture, you can wrap the fillets loosely in foil packets before baking.
If you prefer a slightly spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze mixture.
This recipe works well with asparagus or broccoli roasted alongside the salmon on the same sheet pan.
