Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine peach preserves, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. This is your BBQ glaze.
  4. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the chicken thighs for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the chicken thighs generously with the peach BBQ glaze.
  7. Continue grilling, turning the chicken occasionally, until the glaze is caramelized and slightly sticky.
  8. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use fresh or canned peaches if you prefer to make your own peach sauce.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less peach preserves.
  • Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safety.
