Make this easy, cold dip that tastes just like your favorite Italian hoagie. It is a perfect, no-bake appetizer for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped black olives
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced Italian meats (ham, salami, capicola mix)
  • For serving: crackers, crostini, or sliced bread

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, provolone cheese, mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the chopped green bell pepper, red onion, and black olives. Mix gently to distribute the vegetables evenly.
  3. Finely chop the Italian deli meats. Add the chopped meats to the cheese mixture and stir them in until just combined.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve cold with your choice of crackers, toasted crostini, or slices of crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

  • You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours ahead of time. Keep it covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • If you prefer a chunkier texture, dice the vegetables and meats instead of chopping them finely.
