Prepare this creamy, no-bake overnight oats recipe that tastes like strawberry cheesecake. It is a simple, make-ahead breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese (softened, or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon crushed graham crackers or oat crumble (optional topping)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir all ingredients thoroughly until the cream cheese is mostly incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. In the morning, check the consistency; add a splash more milk if it is too thick.
  6. Top with the crushed graham crackers or oat crumble just before serving.

Notes

  • For a higher protein version, use protein powder mixed with the liquid ingredients.
  • If using frozen strawberries, they will release more liquid, making the oats thinner. Adjust milk as needed.
  • You can layer the strawberries separately for a layered look instead of mixing them in.
