Make this easy, creamy pecan pie dip without baking. It features a sweet cream cheese base topped with rich, caramelized pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt together in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.
  3. In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  4. Add the maple syrup and stir until combined.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of the chopped pecans to the skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes until the pecans are toasted and coated. Remove from heat.
  6. Spoon the warm pecan mixture over the cream cheese base.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans over the top.
  8. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve this dip cold with apple slices, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzel crisps for dipping.
  • You can substitute corn syrup for maple syrup if desired for the topping.
  • For a richer caramel flavor, use dark brown sugar in the topping mixture.
