Enjoy a festive fall dessert that wonderfully combines the beloved flavors of pumpkin spice with the classic Italian treat, Tiramisu. This no-bake recipe features coffee-soaked ladyfingers layered with a creamy, pumpkin-spiced mascarpone filling, perfect for any autumn gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, softened mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, heavy cream, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee, ensuring they are moistened but not soggy.
  3. Arrange a single layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish (an 8×8 inch dish works well).
  4. Spread half of the pumpkin mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining pumpkin mascarpone mixture.
  6. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  7. Before serving, lightly dust the top with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For an extra touch of fall flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the dusting of powdered sugar.
  • Ensure your mascarpone cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • If you don’t have ladyfingers, sponge cake or pound cake cut into strips can be used as a substitute.
