Make this simple, creamy dill dip in under ten minutes. It is perfect for parties, game days, or as a quick snack with vegetables and crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk to beat the cheeses until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Add the fresh dill, dried onion flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  4. Mix on low speed until all seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the dip. Do not overmix.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve cold with your choice of fresh vegetables, pretzels, or crackers.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you do not have fresh dill, you can use 1 tablespoon of dried dill, but reduce the chilling time, as the flavor develops faster.
  • This dip keeps well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
